Entry to the Lyric Writing Competition (the “Competition”) is open to all. Entrants must be at least 18 years old or must have the consent of their parent(s) or guardian to enter the Competition. Employees of Libero Music Publishing Company Limited (“LMP”), or any person associated with the Competition, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the Competition.

Entry to the Competition is through Sonicbids or by post (see 5. below).

Entry is open between the designated competition dates: The Competition
commences from 7a.m. (GMT) on Saturday 6th June 2009.

The Competition closes at midnight on Saturday 26th September 2009, and all entries must be received by LMP by midnight (GMT) on that date. Late entries will not be accepted. LMP is not responsible for entries lost or delayed or not received for any reason. LMP accepts no responsibility for any delay in receiving any entry or a failure to receive any entry as a direct or indirect result of any technical problem, malfunction or difficulty, or any other event causing disruption to or corruption of the competition.

Entries submitted by post (a) should be sent to the Competition coordinators, address as follows: ARC, Case Postale 38, 1256 Troinex, Geneva, C.H. marking the envelope: 'Lyric Competition'. All such entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Competition coordinators. LMP accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or delayed entries; (b) provide LMP with the entrant’s name, address, postcode, telephone contact details (and email address details where available).

Each entry (lyrics / poem) must be submitted in typed / legible written form, clearly specifying the song on the CD ‘The Voice of Naples’ to which it relates (‘O ssaie pecchè / ‘Voici Genève’ / another of your own choice).
An audio recording may also be included but will not be taken into account by the judges in reaching their decision.

Each entrant warrants that: (a) all details provided in their entry
are true and correct; (b) except for those submitting existing classical
poetry, that the Lyrics are their own original creation and work,
and do not infringe the rights (including copyright) of any other
person and(c) specify whether the Lyrics have been previously published or otherwise used.

The entry
/ lyrics / poem / text submitted must not contain any obscene or offensive
language. LMP's decision on such matters is final and any entry /
lyrics / poem /text containing inappropriate material will be withdrawn
from the competition. Each entrant agrees to indemnify LMP in relation
to any loss or damage resulting from any breach of warranty.

All entries received by LMP which satisfy the requirements set out
in these Conditions of Entry will be accepted into the Competition.

The Prize Winner will be the entrant whose Lyrics / submitted classical
poem are the best in the opinion of LMP’s panel of judges. The judges reserve the right not to award all or any of the prizes should they be of the opinion that the standard required has not been reached by any of the submitted entries. The judges
decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. (For
the purposes of the present document the term 'Prize Winner' is understood
to refer also to 'Prize Winners' where relevant).

The Prize Winner will receive a prize for the composition of original
lyrics, in one of the specified languages (namely: English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), Farsi, French, German, Japanese, Portugese, Russian, Spanish or Turkish)
, to 2 tunes to be found on Maestro Oscar Mancino's CD "The Voice
of Naples", as follows: The Prize of $500 for original lyrics to "`O
ssaie pecchè": free composition. The Prize of $500 for "Voici Genève":
your own tribute to a favourite city or country. AND / OR The Prize
of $150 for an existing classical poem to be sung to any tune, of
your choice, on the CD "The Voice of Naples".

Any costs and expenses associated with accepting and using the prize
(or any part of it) are the responsibility of the Prize Winner.

The judges may award prizes to several entrants in each category.
In such a case LMP reserves the right to increase the total amount
of prize money awarded, so that each Prize Winner receives the total
prize money for that category. The judges' decisions are subject to
the proviso that there will not be a duplication of prizes for entries
in any single language.
- The Prize Winner will be notified as soon as reasonably possible following LMP determining the Prize Winner.
For entries through the post he / she will be advised via email and/or via a call to the telephone number provided / by means of a letter sent to the address provided by the Prize Winner as part of entry into the competition. LMP will make all reasonable attempts to contact winners but if a winner is not able to be contacted within six weeks after the closing date of the Competition, LMP may chose another winner.

LMP may use any information (including personal information) provided
by an entrant (or purported entrant) to contact him/her for any reason
in relation to the Competition. Redemption of any prize further constitutes
the winner's consent that LMP may use his or her name on the LMP and
related websites. Entrants' details may be entered into a database
and LMP may use the entrants' names, addresses and telephone numbers
for future promotional contact until requested otherwise by the entrant.
LMP takes your privacy seriously and information provided will not
be disclosed to third parties.

All entries (including the lyrics, any audio or other material sent
to LMP in the context of the Competition) are deemed to have been
submitted in consideration of a chance to obtain a prize and are not
returnable to the entrant. As far as necessary all entries awarded
a prize in the context of the present competition are deemed to have
been submitted in consideration of a chance to obtain a prize and/or
of the prize money, and remain the property of LMP to the full extent
permitted by law. The publishing copyright vesting in LMP and the
prize winning author's rights protected according to legislation existing
in his / her country of residence at the date the entry is received
by LMP. The Prize Winner is deemed to have agreed to sign all documents
(presented to him / her by LMP) which may be required to give effect
to / specify the rights obtained by each party under these Competition
Conditions.

The decisions of LMP on all matters regarding the Competition are
final and no correspondence will be entered into.

To the full extent permitted by the law, LMP will not be liable
for any injury, damages, expenses or loss whatsoever (whether direct
or consequential) to persons or property as a result of any person
entering into the Competition or accepting or using any prize, including
without limitation non-receipt of the prize.

If there is an event beyond LMP’s reasonable control which prevents
or hinders the conduct of the Competition or the LMP’s ability to
deliver the prize to the Prize Winner, then LMP may in its discretion
cancel the Competition. Further, the LMP may at its sole discretion
recommence it under the same conditions.

Each entry must be entered in accordance with these Conditions of
Entry. Information published on how to enter the competition forms
part of these terms and conditions. Entry into the competition is
deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. LMP may at its discretion
refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with
these Conditions of Entry.

LMP reserves the right to exclude any person from this competition
for any reason whatsoever.

In all matters, all decisions of LMP will be final and cannot be
contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entertained.

London N1 7JQ, England. All relevant instructions on the website of
LMP form part of these Conditions of Entry.
